Volksschule Matte, Bern
The elementary school Matte in Bern underwent extensive renovation until 2023. The building, constructed in 1834 according to the plans of the city architect Bernhard Wyss. The architecture of the luminaires was designed by the GJS Architects. Producing lights in a historical style presented significant challenges for 2F Leuchten and needed a collaboration with the preservation authorities. The contract volume amounted to 300.000 CHF.
